Formed in 2019, Benton is a Charlotte based new wave-synth-pop project headed by Jonathan Hussey, who is stepping out from his usual spot behind the drum kit (for bands like Fortune Teller, Siege Hardee, BASSH). Crafting vibey dance songs that anyone into Talking Heads, New Order, and War On Drugs would be stoked on, Jon puts it simply “I just like synths and drums and I want everyone to hear them.”
